Q:Is it bad for the Hacksaw or does it ruin it if you cut wood or trees that are 12 inches or less in diameter.
I seems to be wobbling a little bit if you shake the blade when in the slot thing

A: I’d used the 18 volt version

A: This saw isn't exactly designed for cutting thick wood or trees, but it will do the job if you are careful and have patience. The most important thing is to make sure that you aren't pinching the blade, as that will trigger the overload protection and isn't good for the tool.

Q:Can the blade be turned to a different angle say 90 degrees or is it just able to go on straight?

Answer This Question
A: Yes the blade can be rotated to multiple angles right or left, 90 + degrees.
by|Jan 14, 2020
A: I am not sure about 90 degrees exactly but it the blade can be moved to the side to at least 75 degrees. The mounting head has little "dibit points" that allow for movement of the blade into several various positions.

A: Yes. It can be turned to many different angles and then locked in place.

Q:I've seen Milwaukee do a M12 fuel demo showing how close it performed to the brushed m18 hackzall, but nothing that compares the performance of M18 fuel to M12 fuel. put another way, I have a corded Milwaukee sawzall, how much percentage of the work can can the m12 fuel hackzall handle and how much can the m18 fuel hackzall handle compared to the full size sawzall?

A: I havent used it extensively yet compared to my corded sawzall. But i think
that the Fuel will be a compact and useful alternative in certain applications where space and manuverability will be needed. It will not replace my corded Sawzall ax that thing can take down a wall without breaking a sweat!
As far as compared to the M12 I'll go for more
power/torque any time I can afford it. I wore out an M12 ratchet in less than a year doing auto restoration work so I bought a M18 Fuel ratchet to replace it.

A: The m12 voltage pack is larger than the batteries used in the power drill units. This allows for longer use of the brushless hackzall. Plus, if the enlarges m12 battery wears out before the job is completed, you can use the smaller m12 batteries from the power drills.

A: Night and day difference. The m18 is a beast that will quickly cut through anything you throw at it. The m12 hackzall is good in tight areas. Under cabinet plumbing, between floor joists etc. But will not perform as well at m18. They both have their place. Neither will easily replace the other.

A: I think it will work fine for job, use Milwaukee metal blade.
by|Oct 15, 2019
A: Yes, with the correct length blade it will cut it like butter.
by|Oct 15, 2019
A: This tool is plenty powerful . Make sure you have a good metal blade and you will have no problem
by|Oct 15, 2019
A: No idea
The smaller blades might cut metal, check the specs on the blade
by|Jul 16, 2020
A: Yes, it shouldn't be a problem at all. For blades, just get a few shorter bi-metal blades and you'll be fine. I've cut a little bit of everything with mine and no regrets.
