A:  Hello Randy, yes, this product will work for Bougavillea. Shake evenly onto the soil. Use the illustration from the label. Work into the top 1-3 inches of the soil, water thoroughly to start feeding. For regular plants, you will use 1/2 cup per 10 square feet.

A:  Yes, I have used this on my bougainvillea. I sprinkle a small handful on the soil, work it into the soil and water.

A:  Miracle-Gro Shake n' Feed feeds plants over time (for up to 3 months) nourishing the top plant and the roots below the soil. This product will feed any plant, including weeds that are in the area.

A:  Miracle-Gro Shake'n Feed All Purpose Plant Food is not water soluble and can not be used in the Miracle-Gro Next Generation Garden Feeder.

A:  I have used this product, but not in the manner you suggest. I don't think it would work because the Shake'N Feed are slow release granule's made to release their effect when the plant is watered or when it rains. In a garden hose spray applicator they would release their chemicals in a slow manner which may be too much water to get any effect the plant can use. A better way would be to distribute the granules among your plants and they water them with the hose.

A:  This product is granulated and is meant to be sprinkled over a plant as you would salt on food. There are liquid products by Miracle-gor designed for what you want to do and sold by H D.

A:  The shake & release is a slow release granular product. I don’t think that’s the same kind of product that you put in the Miracle grow applicator. I think the Miracle grow applicator uses a more soluble product.
