Q:Can this pad be used on LUXURY VINYL flooring with a waterhog rubber mat on top? I have been advised that rubber backed mats will stain Luxury Vinyl so was trying yo find something to put between the rubber mat and the luxury vinyl ?

A:  While all Mohawk Home products have been tested and approved for use on Mohawk flooring, we cannot guarantee the safety of our mats or rugs on other types of flooring. The safest thing to do would be to contact your flooring manufacturer to make sure that this product is approved for use.

    A:  Hello! Thanks for reaching out! The Mohawk Home 2 ft. x 4 ft. Better Quality Rug Pad can be used on all indoor floor surfaces except concrete (hardwood, tile, carpet, linoleum and laminate).

      A:  Hello, Thank you for reaching out! Mohawk Home's exclusive rug pads keep area rugs and accent rugs in place. This rug pad can be cut to your desired length and not currently designed to permanently attach to a rug. However, once placed under your rug it should not separate from the rug as long the rug pad is 1-2 inches smaller than your rug.
