A:  No, the color is only on the outside. I ordered the Irish Green sample. The ends are tan/brown.

                A:  The color is the same front and back, one side is a wood grain and the other side is straight grain.

                  Q:I live in the desert where temps in the sun can reach 140F! And a 30-40F swing in temperature throughout the day is not uncommon. How much spacing should I put between these boards to avoid warping? And do screw/bolt holes need to be larger and lose?

                  A:  We have a chart here. https://www.newtechwood.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Expansion_and_Contraction_Values_sheet.pdf It also depends on when you are installing it. See if you were to install it now around lets say 70 degrees and you are using our 16 ft long board you would be leaving about 1/8 of an inch. The boards have a terminal length of growing, it can't grow for ever. There are diminishing amounts it will grow in relation to the temp.
