A: I think the cord is about 4 to 5 feet. I have had mine for about 2 years and it still works, although the light is a little dim due to my placement being just outside of a couple tree branches.

A: The light activated for me at about 15 ft. The light construction quality And overall functioning was poor. They lasted functioning on the house for only 6 months. I would not buy them again. Money wasted.

A: I think they claim 50 ft. And i had one that did that, but malfunctioned i another way. My current one turns on at about 30ft. Side note: it also seems to work more effectively walking across the beam rather than straight at it.

A: The length of the cable from solar panel to light on the same exact make and model I bought 3 years ago was 15.5 feet. They still work great after 3 years in Northern Idaho, subzero cold in winter and some 100 degree F in summer.
by|Feb 22, 2020
A: I would guess that it's about 20 feet. I took a photo of my set-up and the distance from my light to the solar panel is 15 feet and I wrap the remaining cord around the light fixture itself (approximately 5 feet).

A: yes! Quit working after a year.

A: It seems to me that the total is for both lights, I've had this model for several years now and it still works. It does work during the day as well as the night so it gets a lot of hits all day and night.
by|Nov 18, 2019
A: My answer is that its 500 for both lights. I use mine to light a small path that leads to my front door and is very dark at night, and it's perfect because I don't have electrical power on that wall.
by|Nov 17, 2019
A: I'm guessing the total is 500. However, it is bright, it lights our 3 car garage entrance well, and senses from a good distance. I'm thinking about getting another.

A: I would not suggest this light. It did not last long before it stopped working.
by|May 2, 2019
A: Yes - but activated by motion only
does not go on during the day
by|May 2, 2019
A: The unit does have an automatic dusk-to-dawn feature that activates based on the LUX setting (as in, how much ambient light is in the sky.). The light will only turn ON when it is in this dusk-to-dawn mode and only when motion is detected by the PIR sensor. This light will stay ON for up to 5 minutes for each activation.

A: not exactly; it comes on when it senses motion in reduced light, such as an a very overcast day, and in darkness

A: No, the NL-DSG2 unit is manually set for time, lux and sensitivity. If you'd like wireless control of the light functions (by way of smartphone app), try the Novolink NL-DSB1 or the NL-DSBT.
