A: This one is! Mostly because it can do both traditional offset and reverse flow. I use mine only in the reverse flow set up. Great little cooker!

A: The reasoning is the 2nd option for the smoke stack, and the baffles that come with it, the idea in reverse smoke is the smoke travels under the meat and back up around it exiting over the fire pit, so essentially twice the smoke. I have found that the baffles help maintain a consistent temperature as well as shielding from direct flame, I really like my reverse flow. Hope this helps
