A:  I wouldn't use it as such. The steam from the shower would get between the acrylic and the ceiling and cause dampness problems--the growth of mold and the deterioration of the drywall.

A:  This product is an extruded material.

A:  I haven't tried to use it as a dry erase board, but don't think it would work that way. The best way to find out would be to buy the smallest piece--it's inexpensive--and perform a test.
