Q:Doesn't the hump in this design create problems with getting a good seal? Not sure why it wasn't designed to create a flat surface.

Q:Why only offered in galvanized, and not stainless? Not sure if my old flange (rusted away ring) was an Oatey so I don't know if the full stainless ring will fit. Replacing the whole flange would be a pain because it's offset, would have to open the floor.

Q:What screws should be used w/ plastic. Why does it not come w/ srews that hold it to the old flange?

A: It does not come with screws because there are different subfloor materials and lengths needed. A fastener long enough to secure the flange through to the subfloor and for the material(masonry or wood).

A: It doesn't attach to the old flange. I removed the metal part of my flange and used this instead. I purchased concrete anchors to secure this flange to the concrete.

A: Does not appear to be galvanized and it is magnetic so if it is stainless steel its a magnetic alloy of it
