A:  Hello Miguel, If you are using one of our Laminate Shingles for the field shingle we do not recommend the use of Supreme Shingles as the Hip and Ridge Shingle. A:  Hello erika, one bundle of supreme shingles covers 33.3 sq. ft. Most roofing jobs require anywhere from 2% to 10% excess shingles due to trim waste. The amount of trim waste depends on how many valleys, dormers, hips and roof penetrations. Thank you for your inquiry!

A:  Hello poochie, three bundles of Supreme shingles will cover approximately one square. One square is 100 square feet. The most accurate method to determine the amount of material required is by measuring a roof from up on the roof. Measurements should be taken by a roofing professional. We do not recommend that homeowners climb on the roof to take these measurements. Thank you for your inquiry!

A:  Hello Bkuehlem, the products needed could vary based on the repair, and where the repair is located on the roof. Before making any repairs, it is critical to consider the possibility of damaging shingles when the decision is made to break the seal of an existing roof. Any damaged or torn shingles must be replaced. The decision to make corrective repairs to an existing sealed roof is at the discretion of the owner, applicator or specifier. After repairs have been made, the shingles will need to be manually sealed with asphalt roof cement meeting ASTM D4586. For Three-tab Shingles apply two spots of asphalt plastic cement per tab. The spots should be placed one to two inches from each end of the tab and near the bottom, but not so close to the bottom that it is squeezed out from the tab when pressed down.
