Q:can I adapt this bed to 11 ft long x 6ft deep x 2.5 ft h and if so how many pallets would i need. I would like to make this be in a [____________] shape but I'm having a hard time figuring out the inner dimensions. It would be 11 ft in the back 6 ft long on both sides and 4 ft at both sides with a 3 ft inner cut in the front. So I will be able to get to the entire bed standing in the 3 ft cut. I know this is probably confusing so i appreciate any help in determining the amount of stone. Thanks TJB

Answer This Question

A:  All RumbleStone pallets have the same volume of concrete: 24,696 cu. in. and the walls will be 7 in. in depth. So if you can estimate the total volume of block in your wall, divide by 24,696 to get the total number of pallets required. For example, a rectangular wall 11' x 6' x 2.5' high would be about 408 in. long x 30 in. high x 7 in. deep = 85,680 cu. in and would require about 3.5 pallets of RumbleStone, total

      Answer This Question

A:  Yes you can move the blocks however you would like. They are not glued/cemented together. You don't want to stack this product too high since they do not have anything holding them to the blocks below.

            Answer This Question

A:  Yes, I used a masonry adhesive between the layers. It’s been 3 tough, cold, icy winters here in upstate NY and the stones havenMt shifted a millimeter.

A:  It does not include adhesive, and we didn't need it.

A:  It does not include optional adhesive. A quality polyurethane construction adhesive is recommended between stones to add additional stability.

A:  You do not have to use adhesives between every layer; I would use it on the final two layers. The kit doesn’t come with adhesive. Pavestone recommends the Quikrete Construction Adhesive.

A:  Yes, I'd highly recommend it. I used it between courses and it has held extremely well. I used masonry adhesive, also known as landscaping adhesive.
