A:  Yes! The Ladera model #8P8-WS2LRSGS can be used as a shower-only installation. It will include rough-in valve #0X8-310A and the valve can be closed off at the tub port with a plug or cap for a shower-only installation.

A:  If you are looking for a tub faucet that is wall mounted, this model #8P8-WS2-LRSB can be used as a tub-only installation by plugging/capping the shower port. The matching tub drain would be model #018-310B.

A:  Using shorter distances can create back pressure, resulting in a dual flow from the tub spout and showerhead.

A:  Yes, Ladera #8P8-WS2-LRSGS can be used as a shower-only installation. It will include rough-in valve #0X8-310A, which can be capped/plugged off at the tub port for a shower-only installation.

A:  Yes, if you don't need the tub faucet then buy a ½ inch brass cap and install it on the bottom outlet of the valve that would feed the tub spout. Make sure to wrap with teflon tape. Then discard the tub spout unless you have a use for it elsewhere

A:  The 0X8-310A valve included in model #8P8-WS2-LRSGS can flow from the tub spout between 2.5 to 4.4 GPM, depending on the incoming pressure, type of installation, and spout trim. Many factors can contribute to the valve's flow rate, as listed below. For example, some of these factors are: • Pressure going into the house • Type of water heater • Amount of fixtures used at the same time • Type of fittings on the valve • Type of water lines feeding the valve and coming out of the valve, for example, PVC, flexible hoses, iron pipes, copper pipes, and more • Spout trim style • Installation dimensions, for example, the distance between the valve and spout

A:  Removing the anti-scald disc is not recommended. However, the temperature adjustment disc can be repositioned to allow more hot water. A:  You need to either use less Teflon tape if you are using a wrench. You can't just hand tighten it.

A:  Ot sure what your asking . This set comes complete with the valve, that has infinite settings from full cold, to full hot. I believe you can set a stop for the maximum hot setting. I installed this in the Kolar Sterling 60" Shower a year ago, and it's performed flawlessly.

A:  Yes, the #0X8-340A valve with integral stops will work with the Ladera trim. However, the Ladera model #8P8-WS2LRSGS already includes the rough-in valve #0X8-310A in the box without integral stops. If you wanted to use the rough-in valve with integral stops #0X8-340A, it would be a separate purchase.
