A:  Depending on the age and the type of valve you have installed, this trim may or may not work on the old valve. The best thing would be to give us a call at 1-800-732-8238 to help identify your current valve and provide you with the proper options.

A:  Pfister Venturi model #8P8-WS2-VNSB is not made of all metal; some of the components are made of plastic. A:  The Venturi model # 8P8-WS2-VNSB doesn’t come in a shower-only package, but this model can be used as a shower-only installation. It will include rough-in valve #0X8-310A, and the valve will come with a plug or cap to use on the tub port for a shower-only installation.

A:  The 1.8 GPM is only for the showerhead. The tub spout has a much greater flow, typically between 2.5 to 4.4 GPM depending on the incoming pressure, type of installation, and spout trim.

A:  You probably need to readjust the temperature ring. It is explained in the directions

A:  The temperature adjustment ring on the cartridge can be repositioned. We have included the link to the installation guide for the valve #0X8-310A included with this kit. This has the temperature adjustment ring instructions. Please refer to page 9, step 11. A:  Yes. The showerhead can be used as an overhead rainfall installation. You just need to purchase the shower arm required for such an installation.

A:  Yes, you can either turn the shower head or purchase a straight shower head arm.

A:  Yes. The matching Waste and Overflow for the tub is model #018-310B and is a new item. This model #018-310B may need to be special ordered through Home Depot’s special-order counter if not available online. Please contact Home Depot directly for product availability, shipping, and pricing.
