Questions and Answers for Pro Products 64 oz. Stain Preventer 2X Rid O' Rust

A:  Have used Rid O Rust with a siphon system for about 10 years. Wasn't easy to get it correctly adjusted with proper mix but now functions properly. They are also very helpful with any questions about systems or products.

A:  Thank you for your question Maryann. The Rid O' Rust Siphoning System is used for an above ground well pump only. The Rid O' Rust Injection System can be used on either a above ground well pump, or submersible well pump.

A:  I have used rid o rust for several years. Have always used RR1 in my system. Would call maker of product. They are always very helpful.

A:  It certainly did for me, on rust on my driveway. I worked the solution in with a stiff brush and then used a pressure washer after 10 minutes and it was spotless. I would NOT recommend it on concrete less than one year old or on colored concrete surfaces. I would also be cautious on asphalt and especially on recently sealed asphalt.

A:  This is a rust preventer and we have used it as such. I don't know if it will take off existing stains as we didn't have any when we installed the system.

A:  No, it will not take off existing rust.

A:  Have not tried. I use another product for that purpose.

A:  The product videos indicate that it will. I have not tried personally. I use this as an additive to my sprinkler system to prevent rust.
