If you purchase the matte black finish, you will receive a harvest linen shade, the brushed nickel comes with a beige linen shade, the brushed bronze finish comes with a crisp white textured fabric shade, and the brushed bronze comes with a White linen-fabric shade. A:  You should of had 42 in of 9 gauge chain supplied in box.

A:  There should be chain and cap.  I also have sloped ceiling.  I would check customer service.    I do love this light so much!  

A:  I am sorry for your inconvenience was this purchased as a new fixture? If so you should have had the chain and a canopy in the box you should reach back out to Home Depot. You can get Chain the part number is p8757-20 but the canopy is not replaceable.
