A:  I like this lamp. Have mine above my bathroom vanity. To answer your question, the light itself is not dimmable. But you can buy and easily replace your current light switch with a dimmable one. They aren’t expensive. (Be sure to turn off the relevant circuit breaker before you take out the old light switch and install the new one.)

A:  Yes. Mine are on dimmers.

A:  Hello Susie, The Inspire Collection 2-Light Vanity Light features the ability to be dimmed when paired with a standard incandescent dimmer switch. If you would prefer to use an equivalent CFL or LED bulb with a dimmer switch, you would need to ensure that a dimmable bulb is used and that you contact the bulb manufacturer to see what dimmers would be compatible with their bulb. A:  The depth is 6.875".

A:  From the wall, the depth to the furthest edge of the fixture (the bottom of the glass bulb covers), is 6 and 3/8 inches at our house - we have 2 of the 2 bulb fixtures and 1 of the 3 bulb fixtures - all the same depth.

A:  The actual size is 31-3/8 in. W x 6.875 in. D 8-1/2 in. H.

A:  The length is 32" and each globe is 5" deep. It is so beautiful!

Please pay careful attention to the bulb manufacturer’s warning/caution statements on the packaging or printed on the lamp. For example, many CFL’s will indicate on the packaging that they cannot be used in an enclosed fixture or used with a dimmer. Please, refer to the LED lamp manufactures recommended LED wattage equivalent to incandescent. Thanks!

Please keep in mind that any modifications of any kind to Progress Lighting Fixtures will Void any and all factory warranties and could potentially void UL listing also. Thanks!

A:  I don't understand your question , what filter are you talking about.? Are you referring to the globes if so yes you can change them if you can find some the same size.
