Q:Can this hardware be doubled up to create a telescoping style gate? Have a 10’ opening and curious if I could use this to create two 5-ft gates that would retract side by side. Thanks

A:  Hello, Unfortunately it can't do telescoping gate and work properly. For a 10' opening we recommend to do two 5' gate one left opening and one right opening. Anything else, please let us know. Thanks
