DIY'er rejoice
What a gift to DIY'ers. I wanted to shore up outdoor decking with one more support beam and two posts to hold it up. Before: not so simple when cutting posts, you have no room for error. Now: You can cut to within a couple of inches (I cut mine to within 1/2" of what I needed) and let the adjustable post holder make up the difference. At first I thought the giant nut on the bottom would not be able to turn easily with a load on it, but I was wrong. The nut turned easily. I gave it quarter turns with a healthy wrench and when it started carrying load I could actually hear the deck creak as part of the load was transferred to my new (overengineered) support beam. I'm just a weekend warrior but I've had similar projects that kept me working harder than I needed. This meet and beat my expectations.

Worked great!
These worked great for under a 10x16 shed where the grade is uneven and history of flooding. Used them in deck blocks and cemented them in place, spaced them out to fit 4x4 skids. Made leveling a breeze and future adjustments will be easy as a turn of a wrench.
