A: The tag lists 500 pounds, but after a week of use I'd say only 250 pounds with regular use.

A: Doesn't matter the weight capacity, it will break after a few uses anyway!!! It is rated at 500 pounds, I weight 300, I have purchased 3 of these chairs and so far 2 have broken after about 1-2 months. Bought them because they were rated for 500 pounds and thought they could handle my weight!! Wrong!! The gussets where the frame connects are made of plastic and both chairs that have broken have broken at the same place. The plastic breaks and the frame separates!! Don't waste your money on these chairs!!!
