Q:Is this sealer safe for candle use? I made concrete candle vessels and I want to be sure a sealer is fireproof and safe.
Thanks!

Answer This Question
A: QUIKRETE Acrylic Concrete Cure & Seal is a film-forming sealer. The film that forms will be combustible. Instead, we recommend going with a non film-forming sealer, like the QUIKRETE Concrete & Masonry Waterproofing Sealer. This penetrating sealer will prevent spill stains and is fully non-combustible.

A: QUIKRETE® Acrylic Concrete Cure and Sealer will not function as a water barrier. This product forms a semipermeable film on concrete surfaces, preventing moisture loss. Water will still penetrate this barrier.
