About This Product
Quikrete 1 Gal. Concrete Bonding Adhesive permanently bonds existing concrete, plaster and stucco to new concrete, plaster and stucco. It can be used indoors and outdoors on concrete overlays 1 in. or thicker. Quikrete 1 Gal. Concrete Bonding Adhesive has very strong adhesive characteristics that eliminate the need to roughen up the surface of the existing substrate before applying new material.

Can I use this to bond concrete block together when stacking them for a retaining wall?
Concrete Bonding Adhesive does not bond two surfaces together on its own, it is used to facilitate the bonding of two concrete surfaces like old and new concrete being poured. Stacking concrete block together we would recommend using Mason Mix Type S Mortar with no bonding adhesive.
What happens when you apply this product in temperatures below 50 dF. Re: longer dry time or what?

After I have applied the bonding agent onto the old concrete and wait a couple of hours for the agent to dry, do I still have to dampen the old concrete before I install the fresh concrete?
