We use CFM rating to determine the suction power of the vacuum and the HD14000 have a 165 CFM rating which is the 2nd highest CFM rating for our vacuum that is available in the market currently. The highest CFM rating we have is 184 which belongs to our 16 gallon vacuum model number HD18000.
