Questions and Answers for RectorSeal Fortress 90 in. L Cover for Ductless Mini Split

A:  It screws to the wall. It snaps apart so you can mount base & line sets then cover snaps on. It’s an awesome product for installing a mini split.

A:  Pre drilled holes in the bottom half of the cover,you supply the screws.

A:  The cover splits into halves and you mount the flat back portion to the wall with screws (bottom of pic) and the top rounded portions snaps onto it once you are done.

A:  use liquid Nail will work just put it on the part and place it to the wall.

A:  does not need elbow it has fitting for wall entry

A:  Fits my system with 3/8" copper line, wires and 1 1/8" copper line (5 ton system) with almost no room to spare.

A:  No, I don't believe it does. Two parts only... the top sleeve and the bottom sleeve

A:  I don’t think mine did from what i remember.

A:  The 8' pieces come with 2 twist lock clips., We place them in a small bag we ship with the product.

A:  What I ordered came with only the upper piece and lower piece, nothing extra! As pictured!

A:  I ordered 3 lengths of the channel and only received a loose bag of clips. Maybe about 6 of them. The channel was bulk packed. Probably should have been a couple more bags. Ended up using another version which had a double stick foam attachment.

A:  We did not set up the colors because the sales were so small relative to the white I was concerned we would not have a consistent enough product flow to satisfy Home Depots requirement to ship orders immediately. So rather than create expectations that we could not meet we left it out. In the last 3 years you are only the second person to ask about the colors. The other person was looking for gray. What we did for them and will be happy to do for you is to get it. You can give me a call and we can go over what it is you need. Then I can tell you how to special order it through a store. A:  Yes we have had a number of customers who have asked and had good results painting it. Keep in mind that the product is plastic so you want to make sure the paint you use is compatible. I spoke to one customer who used the same paint they were using on the house and I have had another who chose to coat it with spray paint in a similar color. The did this because they wanted paint specifically designed to coat plastic and the smooth finish achieved by spray application.
