A:  If you find it in your local store it is possible to buy just one. I printed from the online site last May 26 2014 (a month ago) and the site lists these blinds, as a single purchase. Today I went back and bought another single one. The Sku # was not in their computer. But somehow the cashier got a call, from back in isle 32, and a price was quoted.. YEP! Complicated. But worth it, certainly, if you only want just one!

A:  Because they are just made out of paper, and they stay in place with double sided tape, they basically stick to any surface. I needed a little more sticking power because I needed to remove them to change out new windows, so I used white thumb tacks to make sure they would not fall after moving them once. Once the room was complete I replaced the paper shades with drapes or other blinds.

Redi Shade Paper White Light Filtering Shades are installed with adhesive, making them easy to install inside a window casing or outside on a wall or other surface. If your shades are mounted on the wall or molding outside the window casing it is recommended an extra 1 1/2” of overlap on each side of the shade (a total of 3”) be added to your window measurement to ensure light control and privacy. To properly outside mount your Redi Shade: 1). Measure the exact width to be covered. Be sure the measurement overlaps the window opening by at least 1 ½" on each side (3" total overlap) to ensure light control and privacy. 2). Measure exact height to be covered, including desired overlap (typically from top edge of molding to bottom edge, or to top of sill if there is one). 3). Requires at least 1” of flat space above the window casing for proper installation Thank you for your interest in this product.

A:  There is a clip that comes with each blind (4 clips per 4 shades in a box). I use one clip to raise the shade, place it in the middle, and the bottom falls and fans out. It actually looks really nice. If you want to raise them completely you will need two clips for each blind, placing one clip on each side of the blind. You can purchase additional clips pretty inexpensively if you want to use more then one clip per blind.
