A:  They didn't smell at all when I used them. I can't swear what happens to them as they get older, though. That's usually when a product like this will start to stink!

Q:Will this work on vinyl flooring?

                Answer This Question

A:  Thank you for your question. It depends on the amount of damage and abrasion on the vinyl. This product may work to colorize it or it could be absorbed into the material layers. Test it in a small inconspicuous area first. Rejuvenate Customer Service Team

A:  I'm not sure, but you might want to give it a try. If you only need mahogany, I think they sell single markers at home depot.

A:  This Rejuvenate stuff is like felt markers and does not blend well with floor colors. It also washes off after a wash or two. I used Old English and that worked much better.

                    by|Jul 12, 2021

A:  Don’t use this stuff. Old English works better.

                      by|Jul 12, 2021

A:  Yes I use my set on dark stained mahogany and they work great. My only advice is don't do what I did and start with the dark markers as they are actually super dark even on dark mahogany. You can always add darker if lighter is too light, but it's difficult to clean dark out once on. I use the middle markers the most. The other thing to be careful of is using a marker that is too red. Better to go too yellow first. One marker is quite red, more for a cherry finish. Sample each on paper and keep that strip in the package for reference.

A:  I do not know. If it was me, I would try a very small spot to see if it would work. Other than that, I do not know and can not say for certain that it would. I would have try it and see. If it didn't work, I'd return it. The best option would be to contact your local home depot and speak with paint pro. That person just may have experience with that product. I tried to use it to remove stains from regular would, which it did not. It did not perform as advertised. I returned it. Hope this helps.

A:  I would think so, yes. Actually I found that Old English does a better job than those markers. I think the markers are junk, and the colors don’t match my floor at all.

A:  I don't see a reason why you should not being able to re-seal your scratch repair. In fact it is an excellent idea. The only recommendation I have for you is to make sure that the marker repair tinting ink is completely dry to avoid smudging the scratch repair. Hope this helps.

A:  This marker set will help color in surface scratches on almost any clean surface. I would recommend this set only as a temporary color masking solution. Will not repair or fill in the scratched surface. Recommend contacting a fiberglass repair shop for a more permanent solution to your textured surface.

A:  Dark brown. I would do a test in a less visible area of the furniture item to see if you think it will cover the scratch to your satisfaction.

A:  Thanks for your question. The espresso-colored marker is very dark. The better question is, does it match the surface of your floor/furniture? It's best to test the markers on a white sheet of paper to determine which marker matches your surface. Thanks!

A:  The cap color closely resemble the color you will get if the item is light in color. One thing I did was to use multiple markers to build up the color I needed while using a tech wipe to remove the excess. Consider these to be base colors. I suggest you practice on an area not easily visible or on another scrap surface. This kit should be all you need for small touch up work.

A:  You will have to mix the colors through layering, just start with a lighter color and and just to darker color if needed, wipe around the area after each application or else you end up with a halo, maybe even wait a few minutes for it to soak in before applying the next layer.

A:  Yes, you can use on Pergo brand flooring. I have done this successfully on several sections where furniture has scraped and removed to top gloss coating of the flooring. I just had to wipe up the excess with a dry paper towel before it dried for a cleaner look. You still know the scratch is there but at least it is color coded to minimize the damage appearance.

A:  The ink doesn't take to laminate well. You would have to do several layers (letting it dry in between). If the scratch is through the laminate (so the wood is showing below), the ink will take better but these won't fill in the depth of the scratch (if that makes sense). I used these on my pergo laminate flooring, in a few spots it worked very well, and a few others it didn't. So i think it will depend on the depth of the scratch and how visible it is.

A:  I would think you could as long as the marker is let to dry. It does seem to be a permanent type of stain so the area of the scratch should take the color. It's worth a try instead of looking at the damaged area.
