              A:  The instructions are written for a full on professional build job. They talk about sanding and subsequent coats of paint. Honestly, it's optional. We used regular old acrylic paint and didn't sand any of it. BUT you will be cutting most of the white trim pieces around the doors and windows. They're easy to cut. Also the shingles on the roof? They are glued on, one by one. It's fairly involved.
