A: If there is going to be a lot walking and also wet floor at times it may not be a good idea to use this product. I painted my garage floor about a year ago and it looked great but after about 15-18 months the most traffic areas need to be repainted. By the way, we normally do not park the cars their just the lawn mower on one side. If you decide to go with this product i recommend you get some of those hard rubbers mats. Good luck with your project.

Answer This Question
A: Our 1 gal. Armor Gray Concrete Floor Paint is a smooth finish coating, it does not have anti-slip properties. Answer This Question
A: We do not recommend applying a 2 part epoxy clear finish over Rust-Oleum Concrete and Garage Floor Coating. If you wish to apply a clear finish, Rust-Oleum Seal Krete Clear Seal is recommended, as it is designed for use over latex and acrylic one-part floor paints.

Q:Can this product be used before ceramic tile installation on concrete flooring (indoors)?

Answer This Question
A: Thanks for reaching out, Alma! Rust-Oleum Concrete Floor Paint can be used on the concrete, but we do recommend that you talk to the manufacturer of the glue to make sure their glue can stick to an acrylic coating. We recommend waiting for full cure before you would consider gluing the tile down. That's generally about 7 days.

A: Our Battleship Gray Concrete Floor Paint is an acrylic water-based coating, and is low-odor. When applied outdoors, odor and vapors from the coating are very minimal, however, if you are sensitive to paint fumes or odor, we recommend wearing a paint mask or respirator while applying the coating.

A: You've come to the right place! In order to properly prepare the floor for Rust-Oleum Concrete and Garage Floor Coating, we recommend wire brushing any of the areas that are down to bare concrete. We also suggest lightly sanding the entire surface with a 60 grit sandpaper to ensure proper adhesion of our paint over the previously coated surface. You'll also want to clean the surface with a degreaser such as dish soap and water and make sure the surface is dry before coating over it. We hope this helps!
