Our paints, including Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch Ultra Cover Paint, do contain solvents and other ingredients that can be harmful while the paint is still drying, however, after it has fully cured the resin itself should certainly be safe for children's toys, cribs, animal cages, etc. We recommend waiting at least 3 days to allow the finish to fully cure, please note factors like high humidity/temperature or a heavy application can extend the drying time.
