Answer This Question
A: Thank you for reaching out! To ensure proper drying and application, we do not recommend mixing Rust-Oleum Specialty Glitter Paint with other paints. Mixing with an opaque paint can also cover the glitter and lessen the effect. For the best results, we do recommend applying over a similar color base coats and then applying lighter coats of the glitter to build the finish and coverage.

A: Let's talk further, Erika! The Rust-Oleum Specialty Clear Glitter Paint would not be the best choice for a bathroom due to the moisture. Instead, you may want to consider use of the Rust-Oleum Home Wall Paint for your wall painting needs! https://www.homedepot.com/p/Rust-Oleum-Home-1-gal-Semi-Gloss-White-Interior-Wall-Paint-365503/313714474 - Rust-Oleum Product Support 1

A: I put a white base but did not like the results. It made the white look yellowish and you need lots of coats to be able to see the glitter.

Answer This Question
A: Happy to help, Cindy! When rolling on Rust-Oleum Specialty Glitter Paint, you want to ensure that you are also rolling side to side in addition to up and down. This will help spread the glitter and ensure an even appearance. An additional coat can be applied to help try to correct the surface.
