Q:How can this be counter depth if it is 28 1/4 inches deep? If the doors are removed it is 24 1/2 inches deep, but who has a fridge with NO DOORS? Should not be described as counter depth if it is not COUNTER DEPTH, i.e., 15 1/2 inches.

Answer This Question
A: Standard counters are 24-25" deep, and the doors have to be able to open, that is an angle outside of that depth.

A: Hi Tomb,
We are happy to answer your question about this Samsung refrigerator model.
As a standard practice in measuring the sizes of our refrigerator models (Standard depth or Counter depth), the measurement does not include the doors and the handles. In addition, the doors on Samsung refrigerators will need space on their sides of about 1 - 3 inches to open 90 degrees. This standard practice of measuring the refrigerator will allow the doors to be sticking out so it can open as needed.
I have shared Samsung links below to help explain the different types of sizes we offer and how they are measured as well as the specification sheet of this Samsung refrigerator model and its dimension.

Q:Hi. It says there is an icemaker, but I don't see one on the pictures. Also, is this refrigerator magnetic?

Answer This Question
A: Yes, JenD, this refrigerator has an ice maker and it is found inside the freezer section. You can check the link below to see the available features of the refrigerator.
Specification Sheet:

In the past, Samsung has increased the amount of ferrous material in the stainless steel panels to make them magnetic by customer request.
However, we do not have any records as to which models are magnetic or which are not. The best way to find out would be to visit a local vendor like Home Depot to see if they can stick a magnet on the door. You can also try calling them and seeing if one of the agents there can try for you to save a visit.

A: There is an ice maker in the freezer drawer. It's magnetic. No water dispenser. We use filtering pitcher. Minor drawback- shelves have limited height adjustment. We chose this model because we had a specific space to fit. Good choice for us.

Q:What product is recommended to clean the stainless steel surface?
by|Oct 25, 2023

Answer This Question
A: Hello,
Let us provide the details you need.
Use a mild detergent in warm water to clean the refrigerator. Do not use abrasive or harsh cleansers such as window sprays, scouring cleaners, flammable fluids, muriatic acid, cleaning waxes, concentrated detergents, bleaches, or cleansers containing petroleum products on exterior surfaces (doors and cabinet), plastic parts, door and interior liners, and gaskets. These can scratch or damage the material.
Thank you.
