Q:I have read several reviews of the oven locking up and needing repair after a self clean. I really want this oven, but will not buy unless Samsung has resolved there self cleaning issue. Does anyone know if Samsung has made any changes to fix the problem?

Q:Does this unit come with any trim pieces?

Answer This Question
A: No trim pieces. The hole needed is exactly 28 7/8W X 50H with the oven outside dimensions being 29 3/4W X 51 3/8H. My original hole was about 30 1/2 wide so I got 2 strips of oak, clear coated them and screwed them to the side on edge which brought the hole to 29 perfect.
Hope this helps.

A: I needed the trim pieces and didn't get them!

A: I assume you mean trim pieces. I believe there are two options for the bottom. I only needed the smaller one. It just slides in after the oven is in. However, maybe it was supposed to go in first so you can screw it in place. I put it in after and can't get to the screw due to door but it is not needed to be screwed in really.

A: If you are referring to the 2 handle-like things they are for installing the oven. You place one on either side to help lift it and then discard them once in the hole.

A: Download the manual, it has all of the dimensions

A: Junction box needs to be at the top-right section of the back wall. actually had installed flush with the wallboard because you have about 20 inches right to left but only about 5 inches up and down where the cutout of the oven allows. Hope this makes sense.

A: Center the box on your upper oven rough in, that will take care of the location and any slack. So whatever your location find the stud closest to the middle top of your install.
