A:  Yes. You can have them keyed alike with the receipt. BUT, not all Home Depots can do this. Only certain Home Depots can key alike Schlage. Not all of the stores do all of the brand locks. Call ahead and ask if they can key alike Schlage before going.

A:  If the interior thumb turn is horizontal (locked) the door can still be opened from inside. When the door is opened the thumb turn will auto lock, leaving the door unlocked from the exterior.
