        A:  I’m guessing that you have a separate deadbolt so the answer would be “Yes” but I would be looking into something a bit more heavy duty. This knob is designed for interior use.

                  A:  This lock comes with both the interior and exterior knobs and will install through the door. There are screws that come with the lock that will connect the interior and exterior pieces to hold it onto the door.                     A:  No, this is a regular doorknob that latches and can be opened from either side of the door. (The description could stand improvement.) It installed like any standard doorknob, but the two visible mounting screws aligned vertically rather than horizontally. It didn't appear that it could be easily changed, so I didn't attempt to tamper with the lock's internals
