        A:  To get the best results, we recommend that you do not apply the Scotts Liquid Turf Builder to newly seeded lawns until the new see has germinated and reached a height of 1" to 2". While the product will not inhibit seed germination, it also does not help it. When seeding it is best to use a fertilizer specifically labeled for newly seeded lawns.

          A:  This product does NOT kill/control weeds. It is simply a lawn food. I can't believe a scott's customer care rep doesn't know better. If you need weed control PLUS feed, get the scott's turf builder PLUS 2 weed control fertilizer in the yellow bottle/bag. Dummies

            A:  Hawkeye10, a well fed healthy lawn will naturally help to keep weeds out, but this product does kill existing weeds or prevent new weeds from developing.

              A:  By feeding your lawn, you'll increase the growth of your grass which will crowd, squeeze and choke out the weeds. Essentially, making it very difficult for the weeds to survive.

                  A:  This bottle siphons a concentrated solution and mixes it with the water coming from the hose as it is sprayed. The container will empty in approximately 15 minutes. Once empty the applicator will continue to spray water only until the on/off switch is turned to the off position.

                      A:  NEVER, I mean, NEVER apply fertilizer to dormant grass of any kind. Wait until the grass is at least 90% green.
