In cases of surfaces treated with wax and some unwaxed floors, the sheen may be removed by heat or steam. Test an isolated area first to see if sheen is affected. A:  We would like to let you know that you can use distilled water in this unit. We recommend to use distilled water in our steam mops, to prolong the life of your steam mop.
