Q:Would this be considered a reducer? I was thinking of using this between the Shaw tile I installed, which is a quarter inch higher than the hardwood which is adjacent to it. Would it work for this application? Thanks.

            A:  Thank you for your interest, SD. A track is included with the Shaw Vista T-Molding and is easily screwed to the floor where the molding will snap into place. This transition comes with a track that can be either nailed, screwed or glued to the subfloor and then the transition snaps into the track. This transition piece comes with a track that will be attached to the subfloor and the transition will snap into the track.
