A:  I am not sure since the package it came with was thrown out and my husband just used the screws that came with it.

    Q:What is the height of the glide? The product description lists 5.5 - which can't be correct. A similar product in the 1.5 inch size listed the height/thickness as .375 inch. Are the 1 inch glides a similar thickness?

    A:  Yes, they are a similar thickness. The 5.5" in the description is referring to the height of the package it comes in.

          A:  The weight capacity is 75 lbs per glide. If there are 4 legs on the chair, then 4 x 75 = 300 lbs.

              A:  THE SCREW IS POINTED AND ABOUT 3/4 INCH. I HAD NO TROUBLE PUTTING IT ON OAK CHAIR LEGS AND OAK TABLE LEGS. I PROBABLY DRILLED A SMALL STARTED HOLE BEFORE STARTING THE SCREW.

              A:  They should be fine considering it is only 1/8" difference and the glides will cover almost the entire base of the chair leg. However, we cannot say for certain. You can try them out but if you experience any wobbling when you sit down then you should remove them. Thank you.
