A: Mine do best in my sun porch with plenty of light and not much watering; but if you let them dry completely out, they will begin to wilt.
They will live forever; some get leggy, but you can reproduce them by rooting leaves or cuttings.

A: For the ones I have inside, I water mine lightly when the soil is dry (every 7-10 days), they do not require a lot of water. If you over water, it could rot the roots. It's best to put charcoal or some gravel or pebble filler in the bottom to pull excess water away from the roots. I keep most of mine outside and rarely water, the occasional rain is enough.

A: Hot dry air is great for them, they don't like a lot of water nor cold weather for it will kill them. I have mine inside on a table in front of a window. I can adjust the blinds so they're not getting to much light. I just got a light for succulents yesterday. I had it on them for three hours; so far so good. These little plants grow quickly, notice new growth the very next after they arrived. I'm starting my third week now. Very healthy Good luck with your project.

A: I would keep them inside. They are part of the cactus family. Unless they are hen and chicks I've never seen them come back every year.

A: They are perennials, and also many grow babies, either at the soil line or farther up the stem.
They do not survive outside in winter.

A: Succulents tend to survive in zones 3-9 and can survive temps that go as low as -20 below. Michigan has zones from 3-6.

A: Your question has been languishing here for years. The larger orders were displayed this year (2021) with matching pails for those who like to use them as individual gifts at weddings, etc.

A: Thank you for your interest in our shop! Sadly, we cannot customize the color of the pots as our growers have control of that.

A: No, they come in a standard pot.

A: No. I would also recommend not using these pots. They are thin plastic and some succulents fall over if they are not against a wall or something else that will hold them up.

Q:Are the pots self contained-we are looking to purchase these for office desks and need to ensure that when watered they will not leak on the desk due to equipment?

Answer This Question
A: The pots are not self contained. They all have drainage holes in the bottoms. You would need to put them in other containers to keep them leak proof.

A: Thank you for your interest in our shop! Our pots are growing pots and have holes at the bottom of the cup. We would suggest getting concrete pots with no holes on the bottom for the little guys to sit on your desk. :)

A: They are in greenhouse pots with drainage and will need at least a saucer. Ideally, you would re-pot them either individually or a few of them together in a group.

A: Hi Chriss66,
Yes you can. Just be careful when removing leaves that you do it correctly. If done incorrectly they occasionally do not produce roots.
