A:  I don't know. I bought some last week and when they came several of them had completely dried out and did not survive and I've decided not to purchase them in 100+ weather. And I probably would not purchase them in extremely cold either.

Q:Hello, received my box of 20 air plants yesterday, they are beautiful, came wrapped in tissue paper, giving them as a gift in 3 days, what should i do with them in the meantime? Do i open up the tissue and set the bundle in the window? or keep them from a sunny window?

A:  There are 2 types of airplants: Mesic (Think tropical) and Xeric ( think dry, arid rocky. You can soak both just make sure the Xeric are dry within a day or so ad they don?t like water at their pseudo bulbs. Then let them dry and mist
