A:  Right, the video shows a round one and the one I bought is like the one pictured............its very small and the pump gets clogged up very easy but it is usable for my needs !

A:  I don't know! However the last 2 that have bought did not last a year! I've been using them for years ans was always happy with the results!

A:  no it will not, even if it's cloudy it will not pump

A:  No. Needs direct light. Any shade, including slight clouds, and it will not function because it has no battery if any kind.

A:  No. It needs sunlight to run. It does not store power.

A:  I bought it for a very small “pond” I made from a little round plastic (not sure what’s it’s called) container? Not much water to pump But it does s good job for a small pond. It comes with various attachments to make the water come out higher, lower etc.. good product for the price but a small solar unit so if you expect big performance you’ll be disappointed,

A:  Hey Richard.I don't know the gallons per hour,but mine is a whiskey barrel half , (lined),and it pumps about One foot high.Differant heads will pump,maybe 6" higher.Its perfect for my application.

A:  1 gallon--pushes water up to small over flow tank. about 1 ft high

A:  This stores no solar energy and only works when the sun is shining on the array. I would not say that it is powerful enough to run a waterfall. It is more for a bubbler in a birdbath.

A:  This product cannot be used without the sprayer.

A:  I have this in a pond to spray water and provide some water circulation. It have enough power for the water spray but it will not have enough power to pump water to a water fall.

A:  We tried to replace the electric pump in a fountain with this device and it just doesn't have the energy to move that much water. We're going to try replacing the fountain tube with a smaller diameter to see if that works. Recommendation at this point - use it for a birdbath where the pump has very little tubing to move the water through.

A:  You can use it without the spray attachment

A:  If its not too tall. It has height limitations.

A:  I don't think it has enough power for a fountain that big. I use it in a bird bath fountain and it is ok for that but anything that needs more pressure and power I don't think so.

A:  No. There is not enough power.

A:  I wouldn't suggest it the over all flow is not very strong

A:  First you need to find out how high the water needs to pump and then see how high your pump capacity is.It should say on the box or instruction sheet

A:  I suppose if you can find an extension with the right connector's it would work.

A:  Not to my knowledge. And FYI this was a not a great pump. Didn’t do what I had hoped for b

A:  Maybe but you will lose power the longer the distance between panel and motor.

A:  No....any longer wire would be to hard on the solar panel and it would not provide enuff power to the pump. Trust me I tried ! :(

A:  There is a wire running from the solar panel to the fountain. I'm sure you could extend that if needed.

A:  No it will not circulate in a large pond

A:  it will not circulate a large pond I have it in a small about 3 gallon pond and circulating through a small water feature.

A:  It's made more for birdbaths. It comes with a small pump, not really suitable for a larger pond. I would recommend a regular pump with grounded plug for a pond.

A:  It is a very tiny unit, so I don’t think I’d recommend using it to circulate water for a large pond—but for its size, it works amazingly well. I don’t know the gpm capacity. It has been workng well in our fountain for about eight months.

A:  I don't believe it will circulate a larger pond. Very limited circulation, but attractive nevertheless,

A:  Hello, This is a small unit with an output of 175 Liters (about 46 gallons) /hour at maximum sun. I don't see why you could not use it on a lager pond, but the flow is kind of low if you are needing a major water feature!

A:  No it will not circulate a large pond. This is very small and only sends out a trickle of water. It is perfect for us. We have it sending a small trickle across a flat rock to supply our bees (we are beekeepers) with water. I would guess it puts out less than a gallon an hour.

A:  No, this model is not for use with ponds.
