A:  Please see the marking on the individual conductors for P/N: 551736 below: SOUTHWIRE AWG 12 (3,307mm2) TYPE TW OIL RESISTANT I 600V VW-1 E23919 (UL) The NEC doesn't have a specific 'type' for Submersible Pump. Per the applicable UL standards, Submersible Pump Cable can be per UL 83 or UL 44. This cable is of a type TW/THW per the UL 83 standard.

A:  If you are looking for a THWN-2 rating, we recommend using our THHN type products. Note that only sizes 8 gauge and larger carry the THWN-2 rating. Sizes #14 AWG - #10 AWG carry a THWN rating only. A:  This is 12 gauge wire. MOST dryers require a 40 amp breaker 10 gauge or better. You could literally start a fire using this.

A:  This wire is rated at 20 amps. A 220-240dryer will be pulling 18-20 amps. So you’re definitely at the max load with 240.

A:  The wire is round.

A:  No, we do not.

A:  Yes it can be used in conduit, but do not use conduit in a well. The wire is water proof and they sell water proof splice connectors for use in a well to connect it to the pump.

A:  check with local code before hand but yes it is for conduit
