Q:A year later, I found not pop-up unit has not the cellulose inside but filled with lot of dirt. Would someone let me know about it? Thanks,

The baits can be filled with dirt if placed in muddy areas. The baits should be replaced once a year.                 Q:Why 3 feet from the house? The dirt goes all the way under my house. A deck may be attached to the house on one side and have posts on the other; would you be 3 feet from a post?

                  A:  I think they also kill, since they do not have to be replaced as often as when I started. I doubt that they will completely eliminate the colonies.

                      A:  The entire stake needs to be replaced. The red piece is just an indicator for replacement when pops upward.

                          A:  It means that bait has been depleted or it got wet and activated the pop-up red indicator, take steak out and look for termites and or depleted bait, then replace with new bait stack…
