Q:Will this show well on Red Brick and how wide is the range? Trying to decide if I will need 1 projector or 2 to cover the front of a 2000 square footage house with a 2 car garage. Thank you

Answer This Question
A: Works well on my red brick - the lasers are bright and reflect from a distance from 60'-70' easily.
by|Jan 8, 2019
A: It works on my house which is brick and range depends on how far away from the target you are. Try shooting it into a tree after the leaves have fallen. As long as you are in an area that trees loose there leaves. I would get two maybe three, but 2 should work. Try it out with 2, you can always buy more like I did. Hope this helps.
by|Jan 9, 2019
A: Yes it will show. The range will depend on how far away you put the Star Shower from your home. The closer to your house, the more concentrated the range.

A: It will show well on red brick. The range is at least 100'. For a full house front I'd recommend two.

A: yes but it closer
by|Dec 4, 2018
A: For me, I was able to install it in my deck. It's about 10 foot deep by 20 feet long.
It's placed on an outside corner, projecting half to a wall and half to the ceiling (I'm on the top floor).
by|Dec 4, 2018
A: The width of the display is only adjustable by moving it closer or further away from the object upon which it is projecting.
by|Oct 4, 2018
A: You would position it closer to the home.
by|Oct 10, 2018
A: Yes. It's impressive.

Q:am i reading this correctly, that it cannot be used on outdoor outlets with a cover?

Answer This Question
A: I just run an extension cord from the light to the outlet. The light goes away from the house as to cast the images. so you will need an extension cord.

A: I'm not quite sure what you mean by cannot be used with a cover. The plug is about 1.5" by 3" long. So if the socket is inside some type of cover that is smaller than add it might be hard to plug it in.

A: I have 2 of them plugged into an outdoor outlet with a cover on the front of my house and they work fine.
by|Dec 12, 2018
A: Due to the AC adapter will not fit if outlet has a cover. But it will work if we use short extension cable to connect between outlet and unit
by|May 5, 2023
A: Depends on how the cover is constructed. If the cover opens from bottom to top, you should be able to use the bottom outlet. The connection on this projector is a rectangular like box.

Q:Any danger from looking out window when lights are projected on front of house?
by|Dec 1, 2017

Answer This Question
A: Not so far as I know. The lights are subtle, at least the way that I have them arranged.
by|May 5, 2023
A: No danger as far as I know. I look out my window with no discomfort. But, I wouldn't recommend staring into the light, no more than I would staring into the sun.
by|May 5, 2023
A: No, unless you just stare into the lights.
by|Jan 8, 2019
A: Not that I've seen.
by|Jan 9, 2019
A: This is an actual laser product. It projects either green or red and green at the same time. It is inadvisable to look directly into the laser. You will likely suffer some type of retinal damage from prolonged exposure. However, it's very easy to avoid the projection. It's not obtrusive and with a little bit of caution and common sense you will be fine.

A: I don't know what the manufacturer says about leaving the power switch on all the time, but I see no reason why that would not work.
by|May 5, 2023
A: Mine is on a timer along with the rest of the lights, however, this light is monitored by light. I will not come on until dark. Once daylight comes, it will go off anyway.
