Answer This Question
A: The slab thickness varies by the size of the slab. If the slab is 12x14 or larger, 4" will be sufficient. If the slab is smaller (5x7) we would require 24".

Q:The specs indicate a max roof load of 100 pounds. That doesn’t seem safe for debris that comes down around the shelter in a storm (tree, part of house, etc)! Is that correct?

Answer This Question
A: They said max wind load at 250 ( probably for the side) and roof load 100. I would think they mean roof wind load of 100mph and not weight.

A: If it's designed per FEMA P320 (and they say that it is) then it should withstand F5 tornado wind speeds of 250 mph and a roof load of 100 pounds per square foot to account for debris.
