Not made for being outside. Dangerous product when used as sold.
I wrote a really long informative review and then I just got an error message. If this goes through I will edit it. I do not recommend at all. It's not safe outside and if you install it inside and really need it you will be outside anyway. Water pours in and there is no ventilation. You have to cover the vents.

Our shelters are powder-coated and therefore paint splatter is not an issue with our shelters. Are you sure it is one of ours? Survive-a-StormShelters

Looks very sturdy build. Good welding
I ordered it, and despite the fact that it took nearly two months to arrive, I think it's a good quality storm shelter. Survive-a-storm company kept in touch during the entire process. Excellent product!

Great communication from manufacturer and shipping company. If you’re planning on moving this thing yourself; you’re gonna need a pallet jack. Unit is well constructed - worth every penny. Just praying that we never have to use it.

              Just what I needed.
This shelter is very sturdy and very heavy. I installed it myself on slab outside with really no problem. I did have to purchase some washers for the anchors. I plan to move it into the house I'm building and really don't see any problems I should run into. All in all I am very pleased with this unit.

                Great shelter for the money
Bought it on Tuesday and it was installed on Friday. Very happy with the quality, all the welding was first rate. I had it placed in my garage and it only takes up a four by six foot space. I live just a few miles from Mayflower Arkansas, that was hit hard by a tornado last year. This shelter gives my family a real survival plan. There was no charge for shipping or installation.
