A: I'm sure you could. My baseboard is bright white so I didn't even paint my molding! Looks perfect. In a few years when it's time to repaint trim I will.

A: Using a heat gun it can be bent slightly. I bent it to fit the angles on a corner shower it was about a 45 Deg. tried to bend it to a 90 Deg and it broke.

Q:This says modified loose lay as the installation method. Can't it be nailed in place using a nail gun and 18 guage finish nails? and maybe some adhesive?

A: the length of the nails depends on the flooring and/or wall or baseboard... Brad Nails work just fine and is probably the best method for installing. for a seamless finish, the recomended DAP caulk is best for painting over afterwards.
