A:  Hi, there! Thanks for your question. The striper should stay generally in place as it is bolted on each side to the back of the mower. The lawn striper attaches to and follows behind your lawn mower during normal grass-cutting operations, and should not affect the operating characteristics of your mower. If the lawn striper attachment should interfere with your ability to mow around obstructions, walkways, or other tightly constrained areas, shut off the mower, remove the roller assembly, and then mow around the obstructed area without the roller assembly attached. A:  Yes, just the weight of the roller filled with sand box sand. This thing works great. It has a comb of sorts on the forward side to help with grass blade separation. The only issue I had was keeping it attached to the mower over grade drops and backing up. I wound up pinching the hook that attaches to the mower closed and getting a proper sized carabiner on the roller side to keep it from disconnecting. Once this was resolved the thing worked great. Love it!

A:  It you cut at a slow speed it should leave a stripe. Although you will need to cut at a height setting that will allow the grass to lay down
