Answer This Question
A: Toter two-wheel (trash can) carts are manufactured as a single-piece design and are tested to be water-tight only up to the lift bar. Please know, however, that our carts are not designed nor warranted for water storage. The load rating of the Toter 96-gallon two-wheel trash cart is 335 pounds. With a gallon of water weighing about 8.34 pounds, that’s about 667 pounds for 80 gallons of water, or twice the load rating of our 96-gallon trash container.

Answer This Question
A: Your question is not clear, but if you're asking about the difference between Toter trash carts with Quiet Wheels versus regular wheels, the Quiet Wheels are made of rubber instead of hard plastic. Rubber wheels are more suitable for indoor commercial and industrial applications. We're sorry you're having trouble getting through to customer service. The number is 800-424-0422, and select option "2" for retail customers. Thank you.

Answer This Question
A: You should contact your municipal trash service directly and ask what they accept. The nearly 20,000 municipalities in the U.S. each have their own rules and regulations concerning what trash containers they'll accept, and some will only use their own containers. To give people options, Toter makes two-wheel carts with four capacities: 32, 48, 64, and 96 gallons. Our carts meet ANSI standards for waste collection, making them compatible with most fully automated garbage trucks and semi-automated cart lifters. Toter is also the choice brand of national waste haulers.
