A:  No this is stiff with a rubber back it's not meant for the washing machine but you could probably spray it off and let it dry if spot cleaning wasn't enough...

A:  No, the mat has a heavy duty recycle rubber base and will will cause damage to a washing machine.

A:  Maybe you can take it to the carwash when you go and wash your car...you can suds up your rug and rinse it off. Let it air dry on your porch or wherever when you get home.

A:  I will be machine washing mine in a couple of days do we’ll see. Spot cleaning isn’t going to work.

A:  I'm not sure how you'd machine wash it because it's stiff and rubber backed. I'd scrub it on a flat surface and rinse, if it was extremely soiled. Otherwise, just a good sweeping usually restores it. It's not rough and straw-like, though. More has the feel of tightly woven nubby carpet, but rough enough to do a good job for wiping one's feet!

A:  It doesn't state that on the packaging. But it is washable in a washing machine. Ours is on a wood floor. I don't know how it will hold up since we just got it a few days ago, but it seems pretty tightly woven.
