Q:Will this product work as floor insulation and will it reduce the "R" value if it is compressed? It says under "insulation locations" that this can be used on the floor. But how will the floor compression affect the r-value? Thanks for your help!

A:  I do not think this would be a choice for an oven. An oven could exceed the acceptable temp range and flamibilty rating ?

              A:  As far as I can tell, it should be safe. Being made of denim it is much safer to use than fiberglass, as it is non-toxic. Also, I found it easy to use.
