Answer This Question
A: Yes, they will keep garbage bags temporarily closed.

A: I haven't tried it but I see no reason why they wouldn't work. Since they are totally reusable (hundreds of times!) they would be a better choice than the one-use Nylon zip ties and even twist ties that tend to break or come loose.

A: They should, just not sure how you will secure them from coming off the bag when opened. They are very strong for being so small, and at 8" long will easily close a garbage bag (several times over, I suspect).

A: Probably will keep a bag closed temporarily for Refilling as you go. Never used the straps that way but really no reason why you can't. My bags
all have built in red plastic straps for temporary closing or final tie off.

Answer This Question
A: Of course you can. As with any hanging device, you need to test them to see if they can hold the weight, and if the work is valuable, use at least 2 points to hang the work from.

A: Yes

A: I think this would work, the ties are superbly strong. Not sure what the back frame of the art looks like, but if you can wire something these ties would do the job right!

A: a few pounds, I guess. They are meant as cable ties which don't usually have much stress

A: They handle the wt of "the coils" suspended on cords & cables connected to PCs, printers, etc. When using w/ Outdoor extension cords, I use them to separate the various cords on a metal hanger/bracket.
I do not use for suspending tools. Would probably work w/ hand garden tools, like weed removers, trowels, hand hoes or claws. I would test however you're thinking of using them in a controlled safe environment, where no one would get hurt & the item not damaged - particularly if the item will "hang" - & might be nudged or "pushed" by the wind > loosening the velco bond. Like using in the garden for plants - w/ & w/o trellises or such support - because it doesn't have heat-sink metal in them. And you can "connect" to branches semi-fixed, while you re-attach/re-adjust the strap on whatever you're restraining. Again because of wind agitation, beware that the wt involved & agitation may compromise the velcro hold. IF children are involved in using this product in such a way that they might get hurt if it releases - I would think more than twice about using for such.

A: They are pretty strong especially if you can overlap the end

A: VELCRO® Brand One-Wrap straps are strong, adjustable, reusable straps for bundling and cord organizing. They are pre-sized to make wire and cord management easy. These are great for securing and bundling small and medium items.. It is difficult to advise how much weight before opening as we don't know what application you are using..these ties are great for cord and wire management .

A: Don't bother, they are a pain to use and don't work well. Find something else. They don't stick properly. The velcro is so fine it's not very functional. It shouldn't be called velcro.

A: Yes, of course. They can not only be cut to any length you want, but you can "daisy-chain" them to make them longer.
